The manuscript is ruled for one column. However, it frequently looks to have more than one column due to regular marginal writing. A few litterae notibiliores can be found in the early folios; they are green and red with floral decoration. Enlarged capitals occur often, especially in the latter half of the manuscript, and are usually red. Capitula are uncommon but do show up in abbreviated form. In some sections of the manuscript, in-filled graphemes are common. Marginal images appear on occasion in red; faces and suns are among things drawn.
