CCCC 28 f. 62r

CCCC 028
Localization:
Abingdon
Date: 12th century
Language:
Latin
Predominant Feature(s):
green, embellished

This green enlarged N is about six lines tall, and has minor ball-and-line decoration on both limbs. Interestingly, close-up analysis suggests that the 'N' was added after the main body of writing was completed (the decorative horizontal lines overwrite the scribe's black ink), but before the red rubrics were written (since the red ink of 'prima' overwrites the green of the initial).
